What did I do this year?
This year was different for me. Since I had seen Fantasy Fest with my buddy George since Fantasy Fest 2002, we decided to take a cruise this year on Royal Carribean's Majesty of the Seas. The bad news about this was that I could only stay in Key West on Thursday. As some of you know already, Fantasy Fest really makes it's stride on Friday. So, while I got a taste of Fantasy Fest, I missed out on so much more. The good news was that the boat was great and was VERY cheap. So, if you're looking to go on vacation with a budget and live in South Florida, I highly recommend taking a 4-7 day cruise. The rates are unbelivable. No joke - I went for 4 days and got it for $139 + port/tax fees = around $220. A once night stay during Fantasy Fest costs more that that!
